This book was really sweet and funny. It's about a boy who goes to live on Alcatraz after his father gets a job there. The best part of the book, for me, was the main character's relationship with his sister, who has autism. The relationship he has with his sister is very complex, and it was obvious that the author must have had some personal experience on that front (it says at the very end that her sister is autistic). This book is commendable because of the sensitive way that it deals with these issues, but also because it's just a great, funny story.
