After reading the other Artemis Fowls, I was expecting a great book.  Instead, I got 391 pages of blah.  Okay, so it had it's moments, but they were few and far between.
The concept of time travel, as explained by Eoin Colfer, is far fetched, confusing, and unintelligible.  And, really, Opal Koboi again?  Also, I want to know what was up with the aging de-aging phenomenon.  And Holly and Artemis are years and worlds apart the idea of romance between them is laughable.
There were a couple of touching moments - the beginning scene, Holly's farewell, and the very last scene.  But the rest of the book was poorly done.  Don't waste your time on this one - trust me.
