OMG this is the best book ever.
i love this book, but then agian who can't love this book. its soo touching and caring i love this. i really wish i could find love or if my boyfriend loved me the way Mark loves April. i know that, thats a book but i would do anything to have that love in my life. over all i love this book,  its the best book writen ever.

Iam so tired of hearing people say, when you get in the real world this are gonna be so much harder. Most adults havent even gone through what these teens have, i dont thinnk there strong enough! Its the pure innocent love that keeps them alive. Aduls, or parents to seem to rememebr what it feels like to be young and in love. They know we say we love them, but they dont belive it! They just dont take us, or our feelings seriously! This book shows young, pure innocent first kiss love! Even though we are young, we feel 2, we love, hurt, cry , stress our just like them. We dont have it easy!

I loved this book. You do not know what Lurlene McDaniel can write until you read this book.

April Manning is a popular girl at her highschool. She has the perfect life, the perfect boyfriend, the perfect friends...But that all goes downhill when she learns that her brain tumor has started to grow again. She is in the hospital where a boy around her own age, Mark, takes a particular liking to her. When he asks her out, April tells him she has a boyfriend, which she believes until she goes back to find him with another girl.

Mark and April end up going out, and it's a perfect relationship...except Mark has Cystic Fibrosis. April learns this and does not worry about it. On Mark's birthday, he gives April a present. As she opens it, he asks her to marry him. She goes to his race, and as he races his car catches on fire. He is immediately rushed to the hospital where no one knows if he will live or die.

This book is about a girl named april and she finds out she has brain tumor. Everthing seemes to go wrong untail she gets to mark, boy with cystic fibrosis, they fall madly in love with each other and soon after he asks her to marry him he dies. April is broken over untail she met brandan but soon after her brain tumor begins to grow once more. I liked this book alot made me cry cuple times but thats how all lurlene mcdaniel's books are.

OMG!! 2 of my favorite books by her. April is so strong and loving, and with Mark, it is just too perfect!! I was very inspired by this book and it made me relize that everyone is blessed in our own way, and when somthing bad happens to you, make the best of it.

This book made me smile and cry at the same time. It's about a girl named April Lancaster and Mark Gianni, and how love can help people overcome the obstacles that life puts you through.

April and Mark meet in the hospital. For a few days, April had been staying there for testing because a tumor in her head had begun to grow again. Mark was there because he has cystic fibrosis.

The whole time April had been in the hospital, Mark had been watching her because he thought she was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen, and one day he just walked into the room and told her that he had to meet her because she was the girl he intended to marry.

This statement kind of freaked April out, and she didn't want to be anywhere near him. But, after a while she begins to soften up, and she decides to get to know him. Before you know it, she's fallen in love with him, and on Mark's birthday he asks her to marry him.

Now, here comes the sad part: One thing that April learns about Mark is that he likes to race cars. He would have like to have been a professional racer, but racing is bad for his cystic fibrosis.

For one of his races, he invited his family and April to go see him, but the race does not end happily. During the race, Mark gets into a wreck and has to go to the hospital.

If the accident had happend to some one else they might have survived, but since Mark has CF he didn't make it. But, before he died April decided to marry him in the hospital.

This book is sure to make you cry. I know I did. I loved it, and I'm pretty sure I'll read it again. I hope you like it.
