BLUE by Joyce Moyer is a magnificent book for teens and young adults.
BLUE by Joyce Moyer is a magnificent book for teens and young adults.
The story is about a young girl, Ann Fay, a member of the Honeycutt family and takes place during World War II. The family is slowly split apart after the father is summoned to war and a horrible polio epidemic strikes their small North Carolina town. Ann is left behind to take care of her Mother, her 3 siblings, and all of the crops. She is forced to endure the death and despair that the epidemic brings.
Moyer did an amazing job writing BLUE because
it has numerous real life situations and how the family perseveres and
resolves them. It also has a lot of anxiety and is very emotional. It
taught me to endure through hard times because it will eventually get
easier.

BLUE is a great book and I highly suggest reading it. I give this book five out of five stars.
