Can you figure out Cluedunnit?

World-renowned Private Investigator Hartigan Browne has been contacted by London's Secret Secret Service (so secret, that even the Secret Service doesn't know about them) to help locate the whereabouts of a missing agent who was last seen in possession of a top secret object known as the Silver Cipher. Finding the Cipher is a matter of national security, and will take reader-detectives on an armchair adventure  as they track clues that will lead them to famous landmarks such as the London Eye, Trafalgar Square, the Natural History Museum, and Buckingham Palace. Along the way, readers tackle 60 brain-busting puzzles, each holding a clue to solving the larger mystery. Where has Agent Cade gone missing? Which painting holds the clue? And what are the butterflies hiding?

Cluedle: The Case of the Silver Cypher is the third book in the interactive detective series, where readers solve interactive puzzles to uncover who is chasing Agent Cade and trying to steal the super-secret Silver Cypher. I enjoyed the punny names of the potential criminals; say them out loud to hear the joke.
The puzzles, codes, Sudoku, logic puzzles, and mazes were all fun. Once again, the answers were in the back if you needed them to check your work. There were several times I needed to check the answers to understand what was being asked. Especially when converting numbers into binary and when making circuits with AND, NOT, and OR logic puzzles. Some of these puzzles felt a bit more challenging than in previous books, which appeals to the older range of the target audience. My reader especially enjoyed the puzzles that dealt with visual reasoning, such as the DNA strands and the shapes that were rotated.
Overall, the interactive approach, where you can write in the book, makes for a unique reading experience. It is perfect to incorporate math and logic while you read. The many visuals allow the book to pass quickly, which is great for reluctant readers.
