A very quick read, this teen suspense novel has lots of action in a short span of time. Taking place shortly after Gerber's first novel Death by Bikini, we find Aphra bound for Seattle to find her mother. However, her mother is still working on the sly to find a mole within the CIA and isn't as happy to see Aphra. Their plans to return by nightfall for the first plane back to Hawaii fall short when her mom's partner is murdered. On the run together, Aphra begins to understand some of her mom's actions/inactions during the past four years. The series will continue.
