What Worked: Dorothy and Herbert Vogel started an art collection in their small apartment. It brought them joy and togetherness. Through the years that collection grew to a very sizable amount that they ended up donating to the National Gallery of Art. Then surrounded by bare walls again they collected new art that spoke to them. The illustrations are very artistic and reflect the styles of art that the couple most likely enjoyed.
Final Verdict: This book shows that anyone can enjoy art. It brought the couple joy and they decided to share their collection so others could also experience the art for themselves. Others have become inspired to love and to create art as a result.
