This is a heart throbbing graphic novel, which also has cutting-edge graphics. The book is very descriptive as well despite the fact that it's a graphic novel. The story is easy to follow you don't have to reread the page to understand what's going on, the book shows different points views too. You get an instant connection with the characters it almost seems like the characters come to life right before your eyes. The pace of the book is just right and the plot is very exciting you don't want to stop reading until youre done. The end is satisfying it doesn't leave you hanging which makes this story even better. This book is recommended for girls and boys ages 9 and up.

The book is so good I read it six times! If you are like me and enjoy watching movies more than reading books then you can watch the movie Dracula too. But, I highly recommend that you read the book it's worth it.

Jonathan Harker is an Englishman who has arranged for Count Dracula to purchase a house in London. As he travels to Dracula's castle to close the deal, superstitious villagers give him crucifixes and garlic, begging him not to go. Jon makes a mental note to ask Dracula exactly what it is that they are all so afraid of, but he soon learns that the count himself is a part of the darkness- no mirror will reflect his image, and he scuttles up and down the castle walls like a lizard.

The book group at my high school chose this book to read during the month of May in answer to a request that we read a classic- why anyone would request that, I don't know. Whenever I start to read a classic I have to fight off my prior assumption that it is going to be boring and difficult to understand- that's how I have thought of classics since I attempted to read War and Peace at the age of ten. This time I worked very hard to fight off that assumption and, by the time I actually picked it up, I was rather excited- Dracula is, after all, the original vampire novel, famous for its evil vampires, not its cute vampires.

Because, honestly, who really wants to read about Edward what's-his-name when they could read about Dracula?

Jonathan Harker travels to Transylvania to help an isolated Count with legal matters concerning buying property in England. After a few days Jonathan realizes there is something horrific going on in the Count's castle and he tries to escape. The Count makes his move to London and a group of men plus Jonathan's wife decide they must hunt the Count down and stop him forever.

This is a horror novel, a very creepy horror novel. Stoker's writing is very descriptive and it is easy to picture people, scenery, and what is taking place. You can really immerse yourself in this book. Even if you know the story of Dracula, this is worth a read.

Dracula is a classic horror novel for a reason. Scarier than the Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde and as easy to immerse yourself in as Oscar Wilde's The Portrait of Dorian Gray, Dracula is a brilliant read from start to finish. It's the begginning thats the most scary, when Johnathon Harker is narrating the story, but that doesn't mean that the novel loses its effect from there on in. Dracula is a must read for anyone who loves to scare themselves.

A true gothic classic. Follow the trials and explotes of this strange group brought together with one goal... Distroy the evil that is Dracula. Chilling, and enthralling, this book is hard to put down.

Bram's style of writing makes for a great read. You can really get lost in this novel. Written in journal fashion you truely get pulled into the fast passed tale.
