I've never read a story about "mages" before so I wasn't sure what to expect but Channie is a smart 16 year old girl that has been so sheltered by her isolated upbringing that when she gets out into the 'real world', you can't help but fall in love with her. I enjoyed the humor and the drama and can't wait for the sequel!

Good Points

Love this book. I want more and am super excited for the sequel. But, there is a diary site for Channie that is helping to ease the wait time. ;0)
