I just finished reading the book Falling for Romeo by Jennifer Laurens. It centers around John and Jen, childhood friends and neighbors who have grown far apart. The school's production of Romeo and Juliet brings them back together, as lovers no less! Throughout practices and performances, John and Jen learn about each other again, growing much closer. But the play will end soon. Will the newfound closeness end too? Read and find out!
This book has a great concept. I love the interactions between Jen and John. They are competitive, yet still attune to the needs and feelings of each other. The tension in the book is unbelievable! It was more nerve-wracking than watching a horror movie. The tension keeps building and building until you think the book might explode! But the release comes at the perfect time. You know how the book will eventually end but it's a great ride getting there! I also love how we, the readers, know the thoughts and feelings of both characters. It makes it more exciting to see the same event in different views. I highly recommend this book, especially for the romance lover!
