This book ended up surprising me, because it rose above my expectations.

Lily, like any other girl, wants to be normal. She want a boyfriend, and she want to belong, and she wants to just have fun. But that's a little hard to come by when her parents and her instructor are convinced that she is a piano prodigy and constantly stress her to play better, and rehearse better. But, Lily doesn't have the heart. And she's had enough. Here enters Rafe, her instructor's nephew, and his band. She doesn't want to think she's a loser with a pity date to prom, so she tells them that she's going out with Rafe. She doesn't want to seem uninteresting to Rafe, so she tells him she has a boyfriend. By-and-by, with the two fake boyfriends, Rafe and her friends entangle, and panic ensues.

I found this book to be funny. I found it to be charming. And because I always love this, I found this book to be real. The dialogue was witty, Rafe was adorable, Lily was faulty, and it was real. Definitely read this one :)
