If you love reading teen fiction about girls, then you'll probably like this book. It went by fast though. But it was still fun to read , even though you never know the name of the main character.
The novel is all in poems about the girl's life. School, boys, friendship, parents, her sister, her first kiss, drama club, etc. Some of the poems you need to reread and look into deeper to understand.
It wasn't the best books of poems I've read, but still, I don't regret reading it. The illustrations added a nice touch to the book.
I would still recommend this book to any preteen or teenage girl. It may parallel your own life or bring back memories of junior high or high school, which is always fun.
