We join Harry, Ron, and Hermione again in the final book of the series. Voldemort and his followers have taken over the ministry, forcing the three on the run. While on the run, they search and destroy Voldemort's horcruxes (holding little pieces of his soul - see book 6), bringing them to Hogwarts. Harry unites the Deathly Hallows, thought only to be legend, to enable him to sacrifice himself. Only, Harry does not die. He returns to life, and kills Voldemort. The end has quite a special twist, leaving the reader with a smile.
