Haunting at Home Plate was a great book. I personally thought it wasn't scary until it got to the middle of the book.
My favorite part of the book was when someone kept writing notes in the sand telling the team how they could improve and who should do what.
It was kind of funny when the team thought they were going to get a man as a baseball coach because her name was Matt. I thoguht the same thing until Nelson gave her a phone call. But the team did great having a girl as a coach. I wouldn't put the book down until I was finished.
The part that stomped me was when the author was explaining the baseball game. I don't really know a lot about baseball. Otherwise, the book was awesome. I would recommend this book to kids that like reading mystery books and books that give them a little scare.
