Definitely geared more to preschool than toddlers, this fun book features pattern cutouts showcasing what could potentially be a leaf, a stick, an insect, or something else! Each spread offers some information/hints/fun things, to help you guess from the various options on the right.

The author did a wonderful job creating a hide and seek experience for kids to help teach them about natural creatures who also play hide and seek with their camouflage and "hiding in plain sight" skills.

Hide and Seek in Nature: Guess What It Is would be a good addition to an elementary science collection, as it fosters curiosity and visual awareness, as well as an appreciation of some of nature's delights.
