Backmatter includes interesting information about spacecraft in the past and cool facts about space.

What I loved: This is a fun way to introduce complex topics for young readers. The book touches upon a lot of interesting topics related to space and space travel. The fun facts were particularly interesting in the book.

Each page includes a few sentences along with a large illustration that keep the pages moving fairly quickly. This will work best for preschool aged readers or so, due to the light level of information and relative brevity.

What left me wanting more: The book takes a very basic approach to these questions and does not give enough information to really understand what is going on. More information or figures showing what is happening and when would be helpful to really grasp this concept. It is a common one in picture and board books, and this one felt particularly basic.
