Vampires are no longer safe. The Venatrix exists and her name is, Tasi.

The fae magic seeps deep into Tasi’s blood holding her hostage. It coils around her bones, tightening inside her, wanting her to destroy every vampire in existence to satiate it needs. The problem is the bond to the man she loves is fighting to try and bring her back. Torn between submitting to the magic or ridding herself of it, she turns to the only ally she knows.

While Tasi is off finding herself as a lethal vampire hunter, her family will stop at nothing to bring her back from the brink of destruction. But, in order to help Tasi, truths will be discovered, secrets revealed, and a brewing war with the fae queen is surfacing.

In the series finale, is devastation the means for a new beginning, or will this found family triumph and conquer the endless hate sewn into the one they love.

I found this book to be intense(in a good way) and full of high stakes from the start. Since it is the final book in the series, it really feels like everything is coming to a head at once. Tasi is dealing with so much, both inside and out, and that makes the story feel urgent and personal.

What I liked most is how messy and torn Tasi feels. She is not just fighting enemies, she is also fighting herself. The magic inside her is pushing her toward destruction, but there is still this part of her that wants to hold on to love, family, and who she used to be. That inner struggle gave the story a lot more depth than just a typical supernatural battle.

I also liked that the family and found family pieces mattered just as much as the action. The people around Tasi are not just there to help in fights. They are trying to reach her, save her, and understand what is happening before it is too late. That made the story feel more emotional and made the danger hit harder.

The plot moves in a really big, dramatic way, with secrets coming out and old conflicts getting worse. It feels like the kind of book where every chapter raises the tension. The fae queen conflict adds another layer too, which makes the world feel bigger and more dangerous.

Overall, I found Hunter to be a strong, dramatic ending to the series. It has action, emotion, romance, and a lot of struggle, and it keeps the focus on whether love and loyalty can survive when everything else is falling apart.
