Jane Eyre is a great book! It was a mystery, drama, romace and suspense all wraped into one package!
Jane Eyre was orpahnes as a child and yearns for new experiences out of her confinement to the nasty orpahage she lives in. To get out of this horrid place she advertises as a governess.  She finds herself at Thornfield Hall owning to the rich Mr. Rochester. She finds herself falling in live with the mster of the house. But in the house lies a mystery in which Jane must find out.
I give Charlitte Bronte five thumbs up to this book!
This book is a clasic to love.

Jane Eyre is my all time favorite book, it literally changed my life. This is abook about second chances and finding your true love despite all the obstacles. I love that Jane Eyre is a plain ordinary girl who is not particularly pretty. Jane Eyre grows up in a harsh environment but no matter what life throws at her she perseveres and in the end prevails.

This may be the best romance novel i have read so far. It talks about the life of an orphan, jane Eyre, and how her aunt treats her badly, and later on sends her to boarding school. She goes through boarding school and becomes a governess at Mr. Rochester's home, where she finds true love. She may not be a classic beauty, but he falls in love with her immediately by her personality. She later finds out many shocking things about him that may even destroy their relationship.

Yes, this is a classic; why is it such, to me...
The heroine, Jane Eyre, is someone who thinks - about her life and surroundings, the people and their lives around her - and not only thinks, she questions. She accepts the rules of the society, but, in her thoughts, she is above it.
And she remembers to think - and act on her thoughts - when in pain. Her belief in God and the spiritual next world gives her strength. This really impresses itself on me, every time that I reread the book.
Reading of how their love developes is ..engrossing. I really can't think of another word. Charlotte Bronte shows so well how the things - and people - come together, and come to connect and feel.
A special book, and I highly recommend it.

This book, written in 1847, follows the life of Jane Eyre from the time she is orphaned. A few years after going to live with relations, she is sent to boarding school. After ten years at Lowood, her oppressive school, she decides to find work as a governess. She takes a station at Thornfield, with the enigmatic Mr. Rochester as her master. She grows to love her job - and him- but when she discovers the secret he's hiding, she runs away. This story of an orphan who made a name for herself is both touching and romantic

Jane Eyre is nothing short of amazing. Not only is the heroine strong-willed and intelligent, but she is also quite average-looking and is easy to relate to by today's young woman.

The plot twist (yes, there actually is a plot!) is fantastic and definately adds even more interest to this classic tale of love, independence, and secrets. Mr. Rochester, though surly and difficult, is very real and, somehow, attractive though we're told repeatedly that he is not a handsome man. The banter between Jane and Rochester is witty and endearing, and Charlotte Bronte has truly lent us a peak into a great, if somewhat flawed, relationship.

Worth the read, and the re-read, and another re-read.

A young governess is hired by a man to teach his young niece how to write, speak, and converse. Somehow she falls in love with him, and he with her. Being the complex man he is, he is being courted by a splendid woman, who people believe will become his future wife. Just when she thinks it's okay to make a move with her boss, another woman comes into view that makes a tragic life for Jane Eyre. A typical Victorian classic, everyone has to read this at least once in their life.

Jane Eyre is about a 20 something year old girl who is the governess for a little French girl on an estate owned by a man who at first is never there. This man, Mr. Rochester, turns out to be Jane's love. Things get kind of messed up after this, the story becomes sad and tragic.
