The Infects

The Infects is badass on epic proportions! I loved it, and I want more. This book is not just a vague, zombie book. Nope, it is smart. Like “get you thinking on a different level” smart. It is also funny as hell. I love books that are from...

Surprisingly Good!

I am surprised by how much I actually liked this! I had read so many different reviews about it, that I just had a negative outlook on it. I need to stop doing that, really, reading reviews before I read the book! But I have grown...

Love!

I have been WAITING (im)patiently for that book that sets me on the edge of my seat. The one that puts all my senses on overdrive and dives me head first into a world that I can’t get enough of. This book did it. And it hit me with the...

OK.

I love road trip books. I like books that explore the world. I like books that throw two people who clearly like each other together and put them in interesting situations. Don’t Stop Now had all of these things, but I didn’t like any of it. The...

Okay

For some reason, and it is probably just me being weird, but I didn't fall in love with this conclusion to the Haunting Emma series. I was expecting a ricochet of fireworks, but all I got was a dull spark. The action is so repetitive that I found myself bored,...

Great!

Mark Twain writes about real life and the sense of wanting adventure. I read this in grade school, and it has stuck with me since then. The characters are all relateable and I think we can reason with them. Just another great classic.

Everneath

Yes. Just hell yes. I love anything that has to do with mythology, and Orpheus and Eurydice is one of my all time favorite Greek myths. Also, Persephone is twisted into this awesome book too. So, Everneath was right up my alley. The immortal background is nothing new,...

ehh.

This is the second book in the Mortal Instruments series, and I did not like it as the first. There is something about it that has me skimming pages instead of thoroughly reading.

My favorite of the series!

This is my favorite Mortal Instruments book! The series really could have ended here, it was a perfect wrap up of all the characters! But no...sadly, the series is not over.

Huck Finn!

It's hard to be a reader and not have read this book! It's an obvious classic and has one of the greatest lessons embedded deep within. I read this in elementary school and then we saw the play. To have it played out it front of me was extraordinary. Huck...

Great

I was hesitant to read this book, even after my mom recommended it to me. I knew the ending was not going to be happy and animals dying is not a great read for me. But this story is so much more than it's ending. It's everything in between and...

Love!

I read this back in middle school for a class project. The story is so magical and enchanting that it is hard to forget. It's the first story I have ever read about "immortals", and anything I've read after Tuck Everlasting always gets compared. It's almost an ode to the...

Good.

This book was good. Iv'e never read anything like it before, that's for sure. The book comes with actual phone numbers and websites that you can call and view to figure out where the hell Victor is! The adventure and mystery was good. I'm not really in a...

Ah, is that how it’s going to end! Oh, the sequel can not be out soon enough!! First off, I would like to thank Ms. Summers for giving me the opportunity to read First Light! There is just nothing better than a book with...

Love!

In middle school, I had to read books to earn points for this accelerated program. I didn't like reading back then, and it felt like a chore to me. This book was the changing point in that time. It was everything I could have wanted at 11 years old, and...
