This one is probably my favorite of the three so far.
Leaf joins Arthur in the House this time around, though she doesn't stay with him for very long. In his absence, though she's pretty awesome. She becomes a ship boy on a miserable ship, goes through her own losses, and does what she has to in order to survive. I kind of wish we'd gotten to see a bit more of her time on the ship, actually.
Arthur is now resigned to helping the House and defeating the Morrow Days. He still wants to stay human, but he isn't fighting against his role as the rightful heir anymore. I feel like this isn't an attitude you see often, and I admire it since it feels realistic.
I like that the books have slowly been leaking in the idea that Arthur might become a denizen if he uses too much magic. It's obviously a problem (especially since we're only on Wednesday), but it's pointed out in an obvious way. Just little bits here and there so the reader, like Arthur, doesn't quite realize how this is all changing Arthur.

Ok after reading this on my hubby is off the hook, I really enjoyed this one! Author is in the hospital recovering from Tuesday, Next thing you know he is floating in his hospital bed. This story has Pirates, Rats, A mariner, Drowned Wednesday is a whale & a hungry one at that. Adventure, adventure, adventure...this is the one to read!

Arthur Penhaligon is drifted to the Border Sea in his bed from the Hospital. Drowned Wednesday was different from the first too books. Number one - Wednesday claimed that the key was stolen from her. Number two - She also says that she told one of her friends (I think it was either Saturday or Thursday) that she would just give up the key to the heir, so all the Morrow Days except Mister Monday stole the key from her. An interesting, if true, story. She looked pitiful enough to trust, anyways. They had turned her into a whale that never stopped eating. Instead of fighting one of the Morrow Days for the key, he travels around in the Border Sea in his search. He meats rats, pirates -not exactly pirates- who take him in. Because of his friendship with The Mariner, and his proof (a medallion, a necklace?) they do not kill him. Will Arthur find the next key in this interesting book? Read it! :D

I think this is when the serious gets good. Before this the books were kind of boring and left nothing to the imagination, but i decided to give it a try. This one started off with a bang, or a flood. Arthur is telling is friend about his past adventures when a flood comes into the room and he is whisked off into another world.
This book is great and has a surprise ending. I loved this book because it action and adventure and you have to know what happens next
