Adorable Babies in Costume

Baby Animals is a super cute baby board book. With the title, I expected pictures of real baby animals, but instead, it is a human baby in an animal costume, making the sound of the animal. I loved that twist. For an older reader, the babies are precious to look at. It is great for a baby or toddler to see same-age children in real photographs to increase their engagement. The photographs are inclusive regarding race. The pages only give the sound of the animals, so it is a perfect conversation starter for the young reader to identify the animal and make the sound themselves. It publishes in November, but it could make an excellent tie-in to Halloween because the children are in costumes. Overall, this is a delightful board book that I can’t wait to share with my younger family members.
