I already knew one version of the tale of King Arthur, but this offered a new look at the story. Rather than focusing on what happened to Arthur in his later years, this focused on his younger life, including when he pulled the sword from the stone, up until when he receives the sword Excalibur. This alone made the book new to me, even though I was fairly familiar with the mythology. The art fairly good, and it was a quick read.
