LEARN BY STICKER: WORD STUDY is an engaging and interactive way to help teach (or reinforce) phonics. In this book, readers will fill in the blanks to identify stickers that they can add to an image to make a mythical creature. The backs of these include additional workbook-style activities to extend the learning.

What I loved: This is a really fun book, especially for children who love art and creating pictures. The variety of word activities are really great, such as filling in words, changing word tenses, and identifying words that sound similar but are spelled differently. There is a lot of great practice for budding readers that will keep them learning while having fun.

The images are loads of fun for fantasy lovers, and they create a great shareable work of art in the end. It's an all-inclusive activity, so it ends up being very clean and mess-free, which is perfect for on-the-go. The pages are perforated, so it is easy to remove them and/or the sticker pages from the page for ease of task completion. The added workbook pages are also really fantastic with fun word games (mythological creature themed, of course) included to extend the learning.

The stickers themselves are easy to place, but also easy to gently pull up and restick for children who like getting them just perfect. The stickers also provide a hint in their shape and design for questions that children are struggling with, so that they can take the leap to figure out the answer.

Final verdict: LEARN BY STICKER: WORD STUDY is a fun and interactive phonics-themed workbook that will keep young readers learning while they create works of art! Recommend for rising second graders and up!
