i have to admit, of all the books by caroline b. cooney, this one is not the best. i still enjoyed it very much though and it is intriging to begin with. 13 year old christina is from a small island. when the children their reach that age the go to the main land and stay in the shevington inn. Mr. and Mrs. Shevington are weird and Christina is completely convinced that they are out to get her. Not only that but her friend Anya,who also stays with the Shevingtons, s going crazy!
