I saw the book Lucky T, by Kate Brian, in my school's library and I picked it up as soon as I saw it. I love to read drama books so much, I actually put down the other book in my hand and picked this one up instead. I read the short summary thing back, flipped through a couple of pages, and I found out that Carrie goes to India! I was born in Bombay, India, so I thought that was really cool! I wanted to read this book so badly! I finished it in less than a week. To be honest, I couldn't stop reading it.

Carrie Fitzgerald has this Lucky T that is like the source of all her good luck. It's tucked safe somewhere in her bed. She has had a lot of good luck. It all started in the 5th grade, when the T-shirt was given to her by her father, expressed as "lucky". Ever since, Carrie has had good luck. She has a boyfriend, (Not too smart or bright), Straight A's, and she's on the basketball team. She has a ton of clothes, too! but, suddenly, on her and her boyfriend's anniversary, her T-shirt was on the doorknob and slipped into the pile of clothes to be donated to Help India. Her mom donates it and it ends up somewhere in India. On that same day, her boyfriend dumps her and she gets in a fight with her best friend. The only thing she has to do now is go to India and find it. She finds adventure, love, and....
You'll have to read the book to find out what's next!!!

Overall, I loved this book. It was filled with descriptive words and such interesting things! I loved this book A LOT! I can't wait to read the other books written by the amazing author, Kate Brian! I hope they make a movie of this book!!!!! Or even a part two continuing her adventure!!

Lucky T was a really good book. Carrie has everything she could possibly want at the beginning, but when her mom accidentally donates her Lucky T to Help India, Carrie's life turns upside down. Her adorable boyfriend breaks up with her so he can hang with his friends, Carrie and her best friend have a huge argument, and she gets a bad grade on a biology test. Carrie is convinced this is because she doesn't have her Lucky T. Out of desperation, Carrie begs her mother to allow her to travel with her friend to India. While in India, Carrie wants to find friends and love as well as her Lucky T. Find out just how far she will go to find what she needs the most.

Dodging cracks on the side-walk, never opening an umbrella inside a building, and never walking under a ladder has become natural to Carrie because she is very superstitious. She does all that to avoid bad luck. Maybe that is why she treasures her red t-shirt. Carrie received the lucky T in the 3rd grade and has kept it ever since because once she put it one a series of fortunate events happened to her. Her good luck quickly changed to bad luck when her mother accidentally gave her T-shirt to charity. Not that big of a deal, right? Wrong because the donations are going to India! When Carrie learns this bit of info, she freaks because her good luck is gone and everything?s going wrong. Instantly she is buying a plane ticket to India and planning her trip. Carrie suspects that she will began searching right away and continue looking until she finds it. Wrong again, because the good looks and kind notions of Dee, a boy that grew up in India, distract her. Will she ever find her Lucky T? Will it matter? I absolutely loved this book. Not only was it funny, but I could not put it down. It started out slowly and took awhile to get started. However, once it started going it was incredible! I liked be able to see some of India?s culture. If you are looking for an interesting, entertaining, and funny book, the Lucky T is for you.

When i first read this book, i liked it. But when i read it again, i absolutely loved it. That's because i realized that she became a different person when she was in India. And that Dee helpd make her a better person.

I also liked the fact that Dee and Carrie's relationship wasn't perfect. By that i mean, they didn't not fight. They fought a lot and i think that makes the book realistic. Also what happend between Jason and Carrie. That could happen between any couple. And of course Pipper and Carrie. All best friends fight over stupid things. And they eventually make up.

I think this book is awesome. It made me really sad to have finished it. The Carrie person at the end of the story sounds like a person that I would like to hang out with. I just can't seem to find a better book than this one! My friend even likes this book! And when she likes a book it's a very good thing.(She does not like to read a lot)I REALLY LOVE THIS BOOK!

When I first saw the title I thought a book about a T-shirt what the heck? But after I read it I did not want it to end. This story was awesome and teen girls will love it. I hope she writes a sequel to this. I think this book proves you could lose something and go looking for but realize you did not need it at all. So again awesome book!

this is one of the most inspiring books i have ever read. and that's not just because i'm in love with dee.

this book holds tons of important things to be learned. and many MANY others.

this book made me want to get up and help these people who are living in india in those conditions. it made me want to donate my lucky t for this cause [[or any cause for that matter]].

it has amazing plot and the characters are so well developed i felt like i've known every one of them since we were children.

and i fell in love with those children at the orphanage. they are amazing.

this book is about what's special in life. and how you shouldn't take for granted the things that you have. it tells how you should be grateful for what you have when you have it.

I LOVE THIS BOOK.
it's one of kate brian's best works.
