Madison used to be friends with Cassidy but now things have changed. Seems Cassidy is now part of a new group with doesn't include Madison. Not only that but Cassidy goes out of her way to humiliate Madison, including sabotaging the morning announcements. After a visit to a hair salon who suggests to someone that she should 'burn' the name of a former boyfriend so she can move on, Madison comes up with an idea. Why not do the same thing? But only with the name of Cassidy and the other former friends. What happens next puts a whole new twist on the mean girl premise.

This is a fun summer read with a twist that takes you off guard. The mean attics of Cassidy bring back bad memories of the eighth grade with my own former BFs. Does anyone have good memories of that year? The attics don't stop there either but get more devious.

I liked the hair dresser and her unique talents. Also I liked how the book didn't end with the whole we're friends again. No, the author did a great job showing what really happens with friends. Yes, people grow apart from each other even when you don't want it to happen.

This is a light fun read with a message that doesn't come off preachy. Another fun tale from Egmont!
