My Brother, My Sister, and I is the story of Yoko Kawashima's life after escaping to Japan from Korea. Her sister Ko is hospitalized after falling from a warehouse, and all hope seems lost; for most families, anyway. However, the Kawashimas never gave up hope and Ko is eventually returned to health.
This story teaches to never give up hope even in the darkest of times. The bond of the Kawashima family is almost unbelievable. Their love for one another is off the charts. Their combined faith that their father will return could slay even the mightiest of dragons. And this book is not Yoko's story; it is her life.
