This is a book about a 14 year old boy named Bobby Pedragon who gets whisked away from his carefree life as a teenager whose only concerns were sports and school and starts his life as a travel whose concerns are now trying to stay alive long enough to get back home. The author realy knew what he was doing when creating this book. Bobby is just like a teenager in every sense and doesnt see himself as a hero as the people around him say. he just wants to get home and is having one hell of a tough time doing it. His reactions to what happens around him are completly believable from getting shot at to witnessing gruesome deaths. Now, on to the antagonist. His name is Saint Dane (notice how the name sounds like Satan) and he is twisted. He's a traveler, like Bobby, but he doesnt want to help any of the territorys. he just wants to make them all crumble. But he does this with style. He doesnt go to each territory and try to kill everyone, he can take any form of human or animal and tries to influenc others to do his dirty work. Very intelligent and cunning, he is definently the best antagonist I've ever read or seen. I definently recommend this book for anyone who is into action, adventure, and a good sense of humor.
