Reader reviewed by Krysten Weller

There have been many fictional YA books written about eating disorders, but this one stands out as the main character is more than just a stereotypical teen w/a problem. We see her struggling with her father's passing & trying to keep her family together. Unlike many books with such a heavy theme, this book doesn't get preachy, but deals with the situation quite realistically. I'd recommend this book to teens from 17-up, or girls who are dealing w/their own eating disorder, but, I would DEFINITELY refrain from giving this book to younger girls.
