I have to say, I liked this book better than those that set the usual part for Avon Teen romance and Simon Pulse Romantic Comedies: not only was it about finding love, but it was also about friendship.
Emily needs to find a date for the prom fast. She wants the whole deal, the beautiful lights, and slow dances, and most of all that perfect prince. She just hasn't found him yet.
But when Ethan walks into her life, and offers up his number, she's definitely fallen. However, she loses the number, and any way of knowing or contacting Ethan. All she knows is that he attends a high school, and that he's going to his own prom.
So what's Emily to do? Crash every prom in town of course! Accompanying her is her best friend Max, her cousin Charlie, and her friend Sid to help her out. Can everything turn out okay?
I liked the fact that it was not only about romance, but everything else was somewhat lost to me. Prom was said by some as a waste of time, yet others stated it's fun. It got a little superficial at times as well, and I just felt slightly odd about the book. I'm not recommending anyone not to read it, but some may find the read a waste of time.
