Review Detail

This is a story of 2 sisters who are convicted of witchcraft in Andover, Massachusetts in 1692.  They are accused of being in cahoots with the devil.  Of course, their mom is desparately trying to get them out of prison while they are awaiting trial.  She is so desparate that she confesses to being a witch to get the girls off the hook.  In a way, this book was sad, the mother sacrificed herself for her children.  I wish there were more stories that were written at this time period.
