Daughter of the Wind is a great "coming of age" story of a girl called Shabanu who has to live life as a nomad in the Chlostan Desert. The plot builds up quite a bit before the end, and you really feel like something big is going to happen. But I believe the ending was too sudden and sad. Sure, it makes you want to read the next book, but it was too much. Other people I know who read it even looked for extra pages at the end, as they thought it hadn't finished or been printed wrong. Although the plot and story line was very effective and exciting, I sometimes felt disappointed at some parts of the book. But read it yourself and tell me what you think!
