This book is absolutely wonderful. This was the first one of Amelia Atwater-Rhodes' books that I read, because I was at a friend's party and couldn't fall asleep. So I see this book sitting on a table and figured I would read it until I felt tired. I got completely hooked!

The whole storyline is so interesting. First off, it was a unique perspective, as normally when you read a vampire book it focuses more on the vampire than the vampire hunter. (except Dracula, but that doesn't have just one focus...) Sarah Vida is such an interesting character, and one that most teenagers (and even adults) can relate to on at least one level. Then you have Christopher and Nissa, both well-written vampires with a sort of wistful innocence, Nikolas who isn't as evil as he seems, and a bunch of truly evil characters as well. The storyline is very good, and there is some great poetry hidden in there. A fantastic read!!

This book is not a sequel to "Demon In My View." It is a different story line. Its about a vampire hunter, named Sarah, who started school and planned on not making any friends but, two weak vampires try making friends with her. One of the vampires, named Christopher, falls in love or starts to like Sarah. Under her law, she is not allowed to be-friend a vampire, it interfers with her job. I would recommend this book to anyone who can handle it and can understand it. It was an excellent book by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes.
