Nick Hornby definatley out did himself in this book. In this book Sam, a normal average 16 year old skater finds out that he has gotten his ex girlfriend pregnant. You could say he is following in his parents footsteps because his mom was also a teenage mother when he was born. He always knew all about practicing safe sex but one little mistake could have the extreme consequences. And Sam and Alicia (ex-girlfriend) are forced to find out the hardships of teen pregnancy.
This book is a must read for all teens. It goes throught the life of a normal teenage boy who's life is suddenly turned upside down. Sam finally realizes how it felt for his mother when she was having an unwanted baby. ALthough upon hearing this news he makes foolish decisions but he sticks it out and realizes how it feels to be a teenage father.
