Stitch by Pádraig Kenny is kind of like Frankenstein meets a Tim Burton movie but for middle grade readers and full of heart. Stitch is a boy literally stitched together from other people’s parts living a quiet life with his best friend Henry and the eccentric professor who created them. But when the professor dies, everything unravels, and Stitch is thrown into a dark, dangerous world where he has to figure out who he is and who he wants to be.

There's a creepy gothic atmosphere, mysterious villains, found family feels, and so many sweet, sad, thoughtful moments about identity, grief, and belonging. Stitch is such a lovable weirdo, and his story really hits you!
