This is a great start to Goodkind's series. Taking place in a world of fantasy, 3 lands seperated for years until the barrier falls. A mysterious woman comes across Richard Cypher and he saves her before the men stalking her kill them both. They bond instantly with friendship, and it is an epic tale of their adventures together!
This is a fanominal start to the series. Goodkind takes fantasy to a new level, putting a twist on what you ,on average, see in fantasy books over and over. It is an intense, thrilling book that keeps you wanting to read more.
