Steve broke up with Rhiannon and didnt tell her why. Rumor has it hes going out with Gloria, whose hobby is stealing boyfriends. Nicole, Rhiannons best girl friend, broke up with Danny and didnt tell him why. (I wont tell you why, either.) Jessica broke up with James (Rhiannons BFF) but he knows why. Will he admit that the reason is true?
Take Me There is a great book. I didnt realize how into it I was until I discovered that I couldnt put it down and every time I did, I couldnt wait to pick it back up again.
Its written in three sectionsMay 20-23, May 24-26 and Epilog. Within each section, Rhiannon, Nicole and James, in that order, recount the daily events. Steve asked Rhiannon one day if she ever got upset by the fact that she wasnt spontaneous. So, she decided to be spontaneous in getting Steve back. Did it work?
Gloria is just plain nasty, stealing boyfriends, dissing people in front of everyone. What should the trio do about that?
Nicole has some issues to work through, including a crush on her math teacher, Mr. Farrell.
And James. I wont tell you his issues, but youll figure it out real quick.
The action takes places over a week so the book is fast paced. The action and dialogue are believable. The characters are real and you get to know them and care about them. Theyre nice guys. Weve all been dumped, so well all be able to relate to Rhiannon and Danny and James (the dumpees). The whole thing is romantic. So, if youre a softy at heart and like reading about romance, youll love Take Me There. Dont get me wrong, there are some sad parts too, but all in all, Take Me There is a happy read.
