I usually browse through the amazon pages regarding books, novels, study guides... This novel was one of the most rated on the list so I wanted to read and be insighted on the plotline of the book. I read it and it turned out to be a very spiritual and and somewhat religiously modified, because of the different elements that were captioned in almost each chapter. I enjoyed reading it very much because it included a lot of the Arab heritage and such so it was very interesting to take it into a completely different perspective. Overall, I loved it. There are a lot of insinuations and subliminal assertions made by some characters in the story, which makes it really suspenseful and grasping for the reader to continue on the story of the shepherd's path and the treasure he was seeking in his dream. Read it!!
