Farrah "Jane" Morris lives two lives. Farrah lives in the posh world, never quite able to up to her mother's expectations. Her mother has always wanted a girlier girl, one who loves dressing up, or acting like a lady, or using tons of make-up. Her mother wants Farrah to have a 'good' boyfriend, and so much more. And all Farrah wants is to be herself and be accepted.
Thus emerges Jane, the Farrah that attends her university. There, she meets Hot Connor, and starts crushing a little. Jane is everything Farrah wants herself to be: confident and disobliged to be someone her mother wants her to be.
Her two worlds collide thought when Farrah needs to attend her brother's wedding. Ther, she meets Connor, who's on the staff as a waiter. Apparently, Connor has an apathy towards the rich. So she pretends and weaves a web of lies.
Everyone knows though that web only proceeds to get more tangled. And as Farrah/Jane's feelings grow for Connor, everything erupts, leaving a huge mess. Will she be able to clean it up?
I can see that this book has some substance at least. Farrah's mother seems almost cruel due to the fact that she isn't able to see her daughter is upset. However, I found that something was lacking at the end. Overall, a nice and cute read to spend the time ^_^.
I'd give this one a 3.8.
