The Forgetting Room by Nick Bantock is a very enjoyable book. This book was a very positive experience for me because it made me explore what the main charecter was going through and it was very interesting.

The charecters in this book are both interesting and believable. They are ordinary people who have life decisions and experiences that are realistic. An example of my favorite charecter in the book was Rafael, even though he is dead throughout the whole book and has no dialogue. I inferred now Rafael was in life by his grandson's words. His grandson spoke of him and made him come alive in telling about Rafael's life.

This charecter Rafael is special to me because he enjoyed life and is not your ordinary man he loved art and teaching about his paintings. I feel the auther does a great job creating the charecters in this book he gives background information on the charecters. I would recommend this book to a selected few of my friends, people who enjoy reading and learning from a good book. In this novel i gained from the book to apreciate people while they are still alive.
