This is not an action-adventure story to entertain kids. It is a wonderful tale of torn relationships,unfortunate circumstances, and how they relate within a family that lives in the Southeast. For those who appreciate life's realities,this is a great read. The love between the brothers was skillfully shown as they risked their lives for each other. The reality of a dad who didn't have much of anything figured out, revealed the vulnerabilities of many.
