Compared to the other books in the series, I thought this was a very well-written book, and I was less confused. This was very interesting as Thomas Ward lost some trust in his master, the Spook, John Gregory. He thinks it`s because of the problem the Spook had with women when he was younger... and Morgan, a failed apprentice of John Gregory, starts to flip Tom`s life very much... Troubles with girls, more problems. Thomas gets closer to his master in this book. He learns who to trust and who not to trust and his friendship with Alice grows stronger.
