The main character name is gabe. Gabe is in the sixth grade. He lives by him self since the second day of sixth grade when he came home and his uncle is dead. He gets a note in the mailbox that sais I have a secret. Dont be afraid When he found his uncle dead he threw a fan on the ground and the next day when he came home the fan was gone and there was anly a button left. When he came home the second time he found a dog. He also found another note that said give him food and water twice aday. The book ended by gabe learning who kept writing the notes his name was PAUL.
The book wasnt really that good to me. I didnt really understood why he didnt report it to the cops.

Uncle Vernon is dead and on the kitchen floor. Gabe doesn't know what to do. He certainly doesn't want to alert the authorities--no way, he is going back into the foster care system. He's been taking care of himself for a long time, so he can keep on doing that.
Then notes start coming in the mailbox from someone--he claims to be a friend, but...And then a dog shows up to keep Gabe company, also from the friend....
This book is written in a mysterious way...Read and find out who the friend is and how Gabe finds his way to a new home.
Thumbs up on this one.
