The Night I disappeared is about this girl named Jamie. Jamie's mom is a lawyer, who is very popular and well known. Because of Jamie's mom's job, her and her mother have to move to Chicago for a short time. Just like other other girl, Jamie was upset to leave her home in California, especially because she would be leaving her boyfriend. Once they arrive in Chicago Jamie is in a bike accident and is sent to the E.R. She's okay though, and is able to be sent home with no major injuries. However, Jamie starts having some mental and emotional issues, such as concerning dreams that have an affect on her life. In response, Jamie's mom sends Jamie to get some psychiatric help and from there Jamie learns something big...
I loved it. It's one of my favorite books. It's kind of obvious, but it doesn't take away anything. I love how it's a good psychological novel. It's easy to follow and really interesting. Three of my friends have read this book too, and they liked it as well. The only thing that I do not like is how it starts off kind of boring and slow, but it's not long before it gets really good. I would recommend this book to anyone, really.
