this book was confusing. i was slightly heartbroken that simon had to leave zoe and that in the end she seemed to be alone, though the author may want us to think she's not. it was sad and sightly depressing and had me real confused. i liked the elements of mystery, mostly in the beginning, but overall the book was not as good as the author's other book, blood and chocolate. it's a quick read however and really kept me wondering if love and life are one in the same.

The "Silver kiss" is an amazing book because it touches everybody's feelings, i cried after reading it, it talks about "Zoe", a girl who has been dealing with a lot of drama in her life, her mom was diagnosed with cancer and she's been in the hospital for a long time, her dad while taking care of his wife ignoring his young daughter, and a new boy in her life who by the way is a vampire, and helping him to overcome the power of his evil brother. Check out the ending of this book!

This book defiently pales in comparison to Blood and Chocolate but it was definetly an interesting story. I think that if there was more character developement etc..It would have been a better read.
When an ordinary girl meets a mysterious vampire, they are drawn together and face a difficult friendship. In the end, you feel really unsatisfied with what happens.

Honestly.. not a big fann of this book.. dont get me wrong.. it was readable and i enjoyed it.. but i wouldnt recommend it..

Pros: Well it had a fairly good plott line with fairly believable characters. Well descripted emotion

Cons: Scene Description could use a little bit of enhancement, I would have liked to have known more about these characters they are fairly believably people and you get a good amount of backround on them but i find them difficult to understand.. at the end of a book i like to feel that i know these characters.. as if they were people i know.. this just didnt do it for me..

I wouldnt recomment this book but if youve got nothing better to do.. by all means make your own judgments

Alternative Vampire Romances: Demon In My View- Amelia Atwater Rhodes

Shattered Mirror- Also by dear Amelia

and for something slightly more mature and complex.. see how an Anne Rice novel suits you.. :)
