The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants is about 4 girls named Tibby, Lena, Bridget, and Carmen, who are 4 best friends that are about to spend their first summer apart. Carmen is visiting her dad, Lena, is going to Greece, Tibby is staying home and working at Wallmans, and Bridget is going to soccer camp in California. With a pair of magical pants that go around between the Sisterhood, their memories of the summer are worked into the pants.

This was a truly great book that some people can probably relate too. Like Carmen's anger at her dad and Tibby's grief when Bailey died. It's truly amazing how four girls that are so different could still love each other so much and always be there for each other. That's waht makes this book so amazing.

I read this book and thought that it was one of the most addicting books I have read. The story starts out with four girls that have been friends since they were in their mom's tummys'. They still have a very close friendship. All of them are different from each other in many different ways. You will be able to relate to at least one of them. This book is about their first summer apart. Right before they separate they find a pair of pants that fits them all. Which is very strange because they are all different sizes. So they mail the pants to one another and they are good luck. In the book each one of the girls has a different story going on. Great read!

The book is about four friends, who for the first time, will all be in different places for the summer. To "stay together" they share a pair of pants that magically fits all of them, despite their different body sizes. The pants brings each girl a different "discovery"; love, choices, family, and life.

This is one of my favorite books. I feel that everyone should read it because each character is so diverse that there is someone that everypne can relate to. I also would read the book before seeing the movie. If you liked the Princess Diaries series, you'll love this series.

this is a very interesting story about four girls,they are all best friends.this summer,they all seperate for vacations.they write each other everyday,and send the pants back and forth.the pants are like magic,their suppose to make good things happen.but throughout the summer,the girls run into tragic events,and suddenly do not believe that the pants are that special after all

I love these books they are so addicting I started reading the 1st one and i couldn stop once i finished it and i immeadiately wanted the next one i am done with the second now im on a waiting list in the library.

This book is soooooo much better than thoe movie so Read the book then watch the movie. They leave out so many details I personaly loved. The four girls have been togeather since before birth and are always togeather over the summer. The book takes place in the first summer they aren't. This book is amazing, filled with love, hate, anger, descisions and sisterhood. any girl can relate to atleast one of the girls. Ith is an amazingly good book. Read it!!! :)!

The sisterhood of the travelling pants was a great read that makes you laugh and cry and i felt i could relate to the characters. I thought that the novel was really well written and can't wait for the fourth in the series. I recommend all teenage girls or anyone read this book and i give it 5 stars out of 5!

Although I wouldn't recommend this book to younger girls, it is an amazing piece of writing for tweens and teens!

Tibby, Carmen, Bee, and Lena are about to embark upon their first full summer seperated. While preparing for their seperate summers they stumble upon a magical pair of pants from the back of Carmen;s closet that she bought at a Goodwill store. Throughout the summer they alternate holding the pants hoping they will bring each girl good luck!
