When Bert discovers the tiny angel named Angelino in his pocket, he doesn't know what to think. Bert takes Angelino home to show his wife Betty. Bert and Betty both decide to take care of the little guy. He brings entertainment to their lives and they love having him around.

Angelino loves sweet things like custard and raisins, but they make him fart. It isn't usually good tiing either. Angelino can't talk and is still very young, so he's put into school. There, he brings silliness and laughter, but also tries to learn when he can. However, a mysterious takes notice of Angelino and it's a little worrisome.

THE TALE OF ANGELINO BROWN is silly and perfect for middle graders who like stories about nonsense. The pictures are absolutely adorable and Angelino makes me wish I could find my own pocket-sized angel. It'd make an exciting day! I really like how the letters for when Angelino speaks are smaller because his voice isn't as loud. That detail is a nice little touch to me.

Final Verdict: I would recommend this story to children who love humor and stories of a different nature altogether. This story was original and like nothing I've read before.
