I guarantee this is one of the funniest books you will ever read! I love how Mr. schmidt keeps you entertained while weaving in bits of Shakesphere and common sense. It is an innocent book, and even though it isn't very "deep", I was thinking about things I had never really though about before. Toads, Beetles, Bats. (You'll know what that means when you read the book) Check it out, and enjoy!

A boy left out of the religious pull-out classes at his school has no choice but to start a private study of Shakespeare with his teacher. As you can imagine, he's not thrilled about this idea, but it grows on him. This was great on several levels: Anyone who loves Shakespeare will enjoy Holling's growing appreciation for the Bard. Beyond that, this book deals realistically and sensitively with issues of war, religion, love, friendship, and family.
