at first i didnt want to read this book because i thought it would be boring but boy did i chage my mind when i was done.
this is te third book in the series and it's quite a good book. i havent read any of the other books in the series so i really cant give you my opinion on the series.
in this book maya finds herself caught between her new *white* friends and her old *black* friends. her *black* best friend shana *black* friends from her neighborhood doesnt want her hanging out with her *white* friends or bringing them to *black people* events. her *white* friends have some trouble of their own. carolyn doesnt like it when her dad starts dating someone and doesnt know how to tell him. joy doesnt exactly knoe how she can be a cool rich girl anymore when her parents arent exactly rich.
i love this book and would recommend it to girls 12+
