Through the Zombie Glass is a great sequel to Gena Showalter’s Alice in Zombieland, continuing the story of teen zombie slayer Alice Bell. In this second installment, Ali faces even greater dangers than before, including a strange new zombie attack and a darkness growing inside her that tempts her to do terrible things. Mirrors seem to come alive, whispers of the dead haunt her, and she must rely on her team of zombie slayers more than ever. Her boyfriend, Cole, struggles with his own challenges, creating tension and raising the emotional stakes. The story expertly blends fast-paced action, suspense, and sizzling romance, keeping readers completely engaged from start to finish.

What makes this sequel stand out is the way Ali grows as a character. She becomes stronger, smarter, and even more resourceful under pressure, proving herself a heroine who can handle the most dangerous situations. The supporting cast also shines, with each character having distinct personalities, motives, and voices that make the world feel rich and alive. New characters add fresh dynamics, while returning favorites show impressive growth and depth, making the story feel layered and engaging.

Fans of the first book will love how the romance between Ali and Cole develops despite challenges, and the suspenseful twists will keep readers eagerly turning the pages. This sequel successfully raises the stakes, deepens character development, and delivers even more action and excitement than the original. Through the Zombie Glass is a compelling, edge-of-your-seat read that is impossible to put down. I found it personally easy to read and get through in only a few seatings!
